What size Hoop do I need?

A good gauge for a beginner is to choose a hoop which stands somewhere between your belly button and your chest.  The bigger the hoop is, the easier it will be to keep it rotating.  As you progress and move on to more off body moves, you may wish to get a 2nd lighter and thinner hoop.

When can I start?

Pretty much as soon as you have a hoop.  We do recommend however, that you consult your doctor before beginning a new exercise regime, especially if you haven't exercised for some time.

What do I need for hoop class?

Wear comfortable, non slippy clothes and shoes suitable for exercising and dancing in.  Bring water and a towel if you wish.  We will provide professional, adult hoops and all the fun you can handle!

Can I get my own hoop?

Yes!  Hoops will be available to buy after class.  Look out for pre-order customisable hoops in the shop soon!

What about the bruises?!

When you first start to hoop, is likely that you will experience some bruising on the part of the body which is coming into contact with the hoop.  This is normal, and they will soon disappear.  Some Hoopers wear their bruises like a badge of honour!  We advise applying an ice pack wrapped in a towel when you get home (or finish your practice).
