What's it all about and why is it good for me?

HoopDance is first and foremost, Fun!  The added bonus is that while you're having fun, you're getting fit, developing muscles, skills and co-ordination.

 

The Hoops are not like the Hula Hoops® you will remember from your childhood, or will have seen in toy stores.  They are specially made Adult Dance Hoops which are much bigger and easier to maintain rotation of.  They are made from heavy duty tubing and covered in brightly coloured tapes both to add grip and of course make them pretty!

 

Hooping is great for both your body and mind, making it an excellent workout for just about anyone*.  It's suitable for any age groups and no previous experience is required.  Hooping has been shown to burn approximately 100 calories is just 10 minutes!
